Year 2095. From the ground to the limitless polluted sky of Neo-Bogotá, titanic and monstrous skyscrapers arise, illuminated by the glow of the flying advertisement globes that float all around the ultra-vast megalopolis. From its highest penthouses to its lowest sewers, this city is full of tales and danger, wired wonders and virtual nightmares, endless alleys with treasures or doom, all in the ever-raining city of Neo-Bogotá.

Bogoture Recs is glad to present Tropical Cybreakpunk Society by KXK, the tropical-rave soundtrack of the Colombian cyberpunk dystopia of your dreams.

Soaked in heavily rooted Latin sound with all the futuristic old-school breakbeat, techno, trance madness from Neo-Bogotá streets, it’s memories from a brighter past melted with the voice & soul of the machine, the sounds of the very future served in a 10-second ultra-fast meal under a slowly dying sign in the middle of the sweet metal coldness of the night.

KXK, a fabulous Colombian artist based in Bogotá, delivers this heavy-wired release amazingly wrapped up with a unique, lovely blended sound, gathering out-of-the-world layers, arrangements, samples & various cultural, local, autochthonous references from Colombia and the rest of Latin America, all virtuously mixed together.

Grab your umbrella and hold your breath (and soul) because it’s going to be an adrenaline-heavy night, under the satellite stars of this dystopian paradise, Neo-Bogotá. Take a look out of the window.
